This Is a very tasty savory snack. It can be eaten with a spicy tea or as an substitute for chapattis, eaten with curried fish or meat. It is easy recipe cooked on a non stick pan.

In a bowl soak the rice flour, plain poppadom or urid flour, in yogurt. Preferably overnight or at least 2 hours. Add a little water.
Add the salt,green chilies and turmeric and stir as the flour will have settled to the bottom of the bowl. The batter should be of a pancake consistency.
Heat a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat. Add a table spoon on oil. Stir the batter and with a rounded ladle take and batter and pour it in the frying pan and with the back of the spoon spread the batter in a pancake shape. Turn the heat down and cook until the sides come away from the pan. Turn and cook on the other side for 2 minutes.
Repeat this until all the batter is finished. This may serve at least 5 to 6 pancakes.
